With strong academic and leadership
qualities, Devin was actively involved
in many organizations such as the SU
Economics and Finance Club and the
National Urban League's Black
Executive Program. Devin was a 2009
distinguished inductee of the Beta
Gamma Sigma International
Business Honor Society.

ALEXIS QUILLER

Alexis was a devoted Business
Management student with a
wealth of academic achievements
and international study
experiences. As a fervent
community service volunteer, she
mentored children at local
elementary and high schools.
Alexis served as the 2013-2014
Senior Class Finance Director for
the Student Government
Association.

Beatriz, a graduate of the Mass
Communication department,
exemplified a steadfast work ethic
and an admirable persona. She
was a member of the Southern
University Marching Band as a
Dancing Doll
and was selected as a 2013
Coca-Cola campus marketing

AYSHA THOMPSON

As a Political Science major,
member of the Honors College,
and Pre-Law Society, Aysha
demonstrated an exemplary
balance between scholarly
experiences
and community outreach
volunteer programs. In addition
to being a full-time student,
Aysha worked part-time
throughout her academic career.

ALEX MCKEE

Alex did an impressive job
managing his academic
responsibilities as a student, and

as a member of the Southern
University football team. In fact, he
was inducted into the Beta Gamma
Sigma Honors Society and Honors
College. While majoring in
Business Management, Alex took
pride in making positive
contributions to the SU community,
through varied community service
projects.

JALEN TRIPLETT

He remained true to the Gold and
Blue! Jalen was a Civil Engineering
major who proved that a student
can successfully balance
academics and noteworthy campus
involvement. Jalen served as the
Chief of Staff for the Executive
Board of the Student Government
Association, was a member of the
world acclaimed Human Jukebox,
and he was a student recruiter in
the Office of Admissions.

SHELLI MINOR

Shelli is a graduate of the School of
Nursing who demonstrated
unparalleled compassion and
distinction. In addition to being a
full-time student, Shelli worked
part-time in a hospital. Community
involvement was paramount to Shelli,
as she volunteered at local women's
shelters and with the city's homeless.

KELSEY PERINE

As the former 2018-2019 Southern
University NAACP Chapter President,
and fervent campus volunteer, Kelsey
maintained a 4.0 GPA as a Political
Science major. Furthermore, Kelsey
served as the Freshman and
Sophomore Class Chief of Staff for the
Student Government Association.

GABRIELLE LENOIR

Intelligence plus character
described Gabrielle best. She
transitioned from high school to
college during a pandemic, with
patience and perseverance. As
a Biology major and member of
the Honors College, Gabrielle
enjoyed dedicating her time to
local and international volunteer
opportunities.
